The atmosphere leans practical and unpretentious, with clean spaces and friendly service, making it easy to drop by for a quick meal or a relaxed lunch date.

The menu balances classic sandwich shop options like beef dip and New York Reuben with a few Indian dishes such as veggie korma, butter chicken, and pork vindaloo coconut curry. There’s also a notable variety of sides and soups, which makes it a versatile spot whether you're craving a traditional burger or something a bit more exotic. Portions are generally filling and generally come bundled with a refreshing drink option from their cooler, adding to the straightforward, no-nonsense vibe.

Locals who frequent Little Valley appreciate the consistency and polite staff, often returning for favorites like their chicken corn chowder or the surprisingly indulgent crispy chicken cordon bleu burger. It’s also a place that welcomes a range of visitors—from quick solo lunches to casual outings with grandparents—reflecting a neighborhood that values both convenience and a touch of comfort food flair.

Given its location near amenities like a nail salon, it fits neatly into the everyday rhythm of Port Alberni life. The combination of Indian and sandwich shop influences means you can switch up your meals without needing to run around town, making it a solid stop on a weekday or a laid-back weekend midday spot. While some may find prices slightly on the higher side, many feel the quality and portion sizes justify it.

In summary, Little Valley is best for those who want a homestyle, hearty meal in a clean, no-frills setting. It suits anyone from lunch-goers seeking filling, familiar sandwiches to those who want to dive into Indian curries without leaving the local strip. Midday visits during the week or early afternoons on weekends tend to be the quietest and most comfortable times to enjoy their diverse, approachable menu.

The chicken corn chowder always blows my mind! Absolutely love it every time. I had the crispy chicken cordon bleu burger with it this time and it was so flavorful and perfect!! Perfect lunch date with my grandma as always

I don't often give 5 star reviews because there's always room for improvement. This place is a jewel. Very clean restaurant including the bathrooms. Very polite staff. Excellent food and daily specials. What's not to like? They serve one of the best burgers in the valley. Probably in my top three all time best burgers list. Traditional style burger not one of those "fancy" burgers being pushed by yuppy chefs trying to out do each other with more bizarre variations. Great pasta dishes are available and delicious. Comes with very nice garlic bread. I've been disappointed with more than one PA eateries whose garlic bread was very disappointing to say the least. Great homemade soup and the turkey sandwich is the real deal.

I went here for the first time in all my years here and I don't know what I thought this place served but I was pleasantly surprised at the menu, and couldn't decide. I decided on beef dip which was amazing. I will be back to try different items on the menu for sure, as the service was very welcoming.

WELL this place is so good maybe a slight overpriced but I think it’s worth the food, I love how it’s right next to the nail salon. Mac n cheese is the best with the fries trust SO YOU SHEA HASELL OR WTV Idgaf. The portion was very filling maybe your just BIG and the price isn’t that bad maybe your just a cheap stake, plus you can’t say anything since your white so you wouldn’t know what good curry is and I don’t think you’ve own a restaurant right? I don’t think so. But anyways super nice workers, the wait for food is a bit lengthy but it’s worth it, I RECOMMEND 100% BADDIES.
